New technology 'SAFE VISION SYSTEM'

Eye Centre Prague, as the first private eye center in the Czech Republic, uses the new technology 'SAFE VISION SYSTEM' for cataract surgeries. This is a module in the new phacoemulsification device CENTURION from ALCON.

Next-generation device

              The device monitors the individual phases of cataract surgery.

Increased safety during surgery

              It actively monitors any changes during the surgery, such as fluctuations in intraocular pressure or unexpected patient movements.

Automatic control of intraocular pressure

              During the surgery, intraocular pressure is robotically controlled, minimizing fluctuations that cannot be predicted during the initial examination.

Minimization of infection risk

              It includes a specially balanced solution that enhances safety and minimizes the risk of infection during eye surgery.

Improved postoperative course and eye healing

             The surgery is gentler for the patient, with less irritation to the eye structures compared to standard technology, resulting in faster healing post-surgery.

Greater comfort for the surgeon

             The new technology automatically adjusts the settings of the phacoemulsification device, allowing the surgeon to fully focus on the surgical performance and the patient.
