Cataract surgery at the Eye Centre Prague is fully covered by health insurance. Health insurance companies only cover monofocal intraocular lenses, which improve vision at one distance after the surgery.

Offer of premium intraocular lenses
As part of premium cataract treatment, patients can choose special intraocular lenses and permanently set aside their glasses. Patients have the following options:
- Trifocal intraocular lenses provide high-quality vision at near, intermediate, and far distances, completely eliminating the need for glasses.
- EDOF (Extended Depth of Focus) intraocular lenses offer sharp vision at far and intermediate distances, as well as at so-called functional near distances. They are associated with fewer optical phenomena.
- Aspheric lenses deliver better visual quality in low-light conditions and improved contrast sensitivity.
- Toric lenses are designed for patients with corneal astigmatism, a condition that can be detected during a comprehensive eye examination.
