A. Janeková presents the clinical study results of the ZEISS AT ELANA® trifocal lens

In collaboration with Andrea Janeková, MD, FEBO, FEBOS-CR, this video by ZEISS introduces the first clinical study evaluating the performance of the new AT ELANA® trifocal intraocular lens.

In the video, Dr. Janeková shares her experience from Eye Centre Prague, where, as one of the leading specialists in cataract and refractive surgery, she performs approximately 2,500 intraocular surgeries per year. She describes the advantages of modern premium lenses, the implantation process, and the high patient satisfaction achieved through a significant degree of spectacle independence after surgery.

The video also presents the results of a clinical study involving 126 patients (252 eyes) across 11 clinical centers in the Czech Republic, Germany, and Slovakia. Dr. Janeková, the lead author of this peer-reviewed clinical study, explains the performance of the ZEISS AT ELANA® 841P trifocal intraocular lens and its benefits for patients. The study confirmed excellent visual quality across all distances and natural contrast after implantation.
