Trust from a fellow specialist: Ladislav Vokál, MD, chose OCP for his surgery

When a patient entrusts us with their eyesight, it is a great honour for us. When an ophthalmologist chooses us for their own surgery, it is a powerful confirmation that even those who fully understand our work place their trust in it.

MD Ladislav Vokál from Kolín underwent bilateral cataract surgery at our clinic. He is a long-standing collaborating ophthalmologist who has been connected with us for 25 years and, as he says himself: “Eye Centre Prague has very good results, and that is why I trust them.”

The surgery was performed by our Chief Doctor of the Clinic, Radan Zugar, MD, who implanted premium trifocal toric intraocular lenses. Thanks to them, Dr Vokál now sees sharply at all distances without glasses and has also been freed from astigmatism.

“I chose a trifocal lens because I no longer want to wear glasses and I hope to see well at all distances — far, intermediate and near. I can already see much better with my left eye and reading is wonderfully clear. Choosing the trifocal lens was the right decision and the surgery was done very well.
