• We are the first private cataract center in the Czech Republic.
• As the first private eye clinic in the Czech Republic, we performed the first implantation of the Scharioth macular lens, which represents a new treatment for patients with age-related macular degeneration (AMD).
• We became the first private eye clinic in the Czech Republic to use the state-of-the-art "Save Vision System" technology for cataract surgeries.
• We are the first private facility in the Czech Republic and Slovakia to practically test a new robot-assisted surgery – the ZEPTO technology.

	doc. Jiří Pašta, MD, CSc., FEBO The head of the ophthalmology clinic at the Central Military Hospital and also the professional guarantor of Eye Centre Prague. He has performed over 30,000 successful surgeries, including more than 1,000 surgeries annually here at OCP.
	Chief Doctor of the Clinic Radan Zugar, MD He specializes primarily in cataract surgery and has performed more than 30,000 successful surgeries in total. In 2017, he was appointed by the Ministry of Health as a member of the accreditation committee for the field of specialized training - ophthalmology.
	Andrea Janeková, MD, Ph.D., FEBO, FEBOS-CR She specializes in cataract surgery, refractive surgery, and vitreoretinal surgery. Recently, he has also been focusing on glaucoma surgeries. She performs 3,000 intraocular surgeries annually. In 2026, Forbes named her one of the Czech Republic’s top 50 doctors.

Eye Centre Prague is the first private cataract center (center for cataract surgery) in the Czech Republic. We perform several thousand cataract surgeries annually, and since the clinic was established in 2000, we have conducted over 100,000 successful surgeries.

We have a long-standing close partnership with leading intraocular lens manufacturers, including ZEISS, Alcon and Lenstec. We are proud that our medical specialists help develop new intraocular lenses that are now implanted worldwide.
